| | Snow tommorrow, first day opening of eaglecrest! (and my Winter Ball experience)

Category: Friends I went up there (eaglecrest) at lunch with Sarah and we both got our season pass tickets. The lady said a full day ticket tomorrow is going to cost $20, although only ptarmigan is open.
So I went to my first dance at "The Winter Ball". The Theme was "Crystal Elegance", with the colors being Blue and White.
I had plans to go with Debbie as she was my dance partner in learning the 8 week lesson on "Fox Trot", and the 8 week lesson on "The Waltz".
I was very nervous about the dance as the last one I went to was something called "Snowball" where I went with this girl (I have NO idea what her name was), and I think I forgot it the next day. But I did NOT have a very good time.
That was my first date I ever had. Not fun.
But this one was going to be a lot better. Debbie and Amanda were both coming as my "date". Debbie was going to be in the "Thunder Mountain Big B
and". So she wasn't going to do a lot of dancing, but Amanda was going to go.
This is the kind of dance I need, going with two friends on the night out and just have some fun!
I helped Amanda move earlier that day, and then Amanda called and cancelled. She said she was tired. I was SOOOOO disappointed. After she said t
hat nightmarish events started to play in my mind. Sitting around alone, completely abused, people laughing at me. Maybe some people pointing at
me and yelling "LOSER!".
Okay maybe the last part of the paragraph was a LITTLE too broad :P. But I was feeling a little depressed and scared.
So I went into the Dance with the belief it was going to be a disaster... but Debbie wanted me to go and I wasn't going to let her down.
I was SOO Lucky, there was my Dance Teacher's there and they kept me company and did several dances with me. Then Amanda Coate (not gellhouse) was
there with her Dad.
I am SOO glad Amanda came because she is a excellent dancer and I had a fantastic time with her.
It was interesting on the Dance floor all of my lessons I just forget. I did manage to do some stuff but I had a fabulous time with Debbie and eve
ryone else.
So yes, I would do this again.
So tommorrow I'm going to Annie's birthday party. Bowling! But wait there is more, it's COSMIC BOWLING!! I'm going to bring my one glow-in-the-d
ark shirt too!!! It'll be fabulous!
Also guess who is going to be there? Sulie! Yep she is coming into town and I haven't seen her for a while and it will be really good to see her again.
Also I can "kind-of" do 5.10's now for climbing... it is really exciting!
