I make plans.
But sometimes fate just has a way of changing them.. you'll see my last plans from my last blog are completely messed up! No Torsten's Bonfire was not on friday... so because of that my plans were open... and open plans... well lets see what happens with open plans.
So this is how things REALLY go down:
Thursday: Get out of work a little later after some emergency happens, start a process which will take a few hours then I run to the Rock Dump and do some great climbs with Gary. Then run home, shower, and run to the office again to start the second stage of the process. Then I ran to Swing Dance lessons (i know I said waltz in the last blog but it was a typo).
Then after Swing Dance with Debbie I ran back to the office until 1am and I got everything done. Cool thing is I was told I could take the next day off.
Friday:
SNOWSUN, the day was sunny and snowy at the same time...!! But that is pretty irrelevant to how the day really went down.
Anyway what really happened is an emergency occurred. But I put on my illuminated shirt for the day which was fabulous! So I ended up back at the office. So the events were: Had lunch with Chris, Torsten, Amanda at Seongs Sushi Bar. Got my haircut done... it needed badly to happen. Got a bunch of work in then I cut out and ran up perseverance and the flume a couple of times. Ran into Rob in the lobby, he is new in town and I invited him over to Torsten's Bon Fire on Sunday night. Got back in my place and I got a phone call from Brenda who wanted some help moving a Washing Machine.
Went out with Brenda and moved the Washing Machine from her storage unit to her new apartment. Got a call from Torsten and Matt they wanted to go climbing.
I previously made plans to meet Russ, Jake, Damon, Nick, Sheila + gang over at the Buoy Deck. So I said meet me and I'd be there in about 20 minutes because I was still working on the Washing Machine. Made plans with Brenda to go up boarding tomorrow morning at 8:45am.
Got to the Buoy Deck ate a Buoy Burger then Matt and Torsten and I went to the DL and the DEC building to pick up a mountain bike, some skis as Torsten was going heli-skiing tomorrow and needed to get some gear from the office. We threw them all in the back of the little blue truck when I got a call from Amanda who wanted to find out if anything was going on and what was up.
Anyway went by my place picked up my climbing gear then we swung by and got Amanda.
It was pretty crowded with 4 people in the front of the blue pickup! So then we ran over to the Rock Dump and got some good climbs in.
This girl Isabelle was and not last year but the previous 2 years before that she sold me Juneau Jumper tickets. Anyway I mentioned that to her and she had some raffle tickets for Juneau Jumpers. So I bought one for this year and one for the year before that when somehow I missed her when she came by my place to sell them. She also got some other people to buy tickets as well!
Then we headed out to the DL. Chris called I think, anyway we all ended up going over to Debbies. I dropped Matt and Amanda off and I needed to give a ride to Torsten home and get is Maemo Mapper repositories right and get USBControl going.
Aaron called to find out if anything was going on tonight and I told him I was going over to Torsten's and wouldn't be back in town, I was fading from Cell range so I said give Amanda a call to find out what was going on.
I got all of the stuff going with Torsten with the N800 and headed back into town. I got back to Debbie's and Aaron was there with the impromptu party. Amanda is going boarding tomorrow too so she wanted to get home a little earlier so we bid our fairwells and headed home.
Tomorrow morning: Boarding!

Hope the Sunday bonfire was good! The radio volunteering was pretty light work, so my friend and I headed home early - wish I had known so I could have gone!!!
Me too!
And as soon as I get around to it I'll write a blog about it!
