And the drum beat of life beats on!

Okay so here I am posting on a tuesday night.

Now you can compare how my plan was on how things actually ended up.

Saturday: 8:45am went up to the slopes with Brenda. The whole day was sunny and Brenda generously applied sunscreen to protect my white face. The weather was great, I ended up taking off a layer of clothing because it was warm. So we snowboarded for a while then I we went to lunch and somehow Brenda managed to buy me lunch when I was attempting to buy HER lunch. I was foiled!

Anyway we went over and had lunch with Chris, Aaron and Amanda. You can read about it from the other perspective at: http://amandalysis.blogspot.com/2008/03/kicking-off-sewards-day-weekend.html
After that Brenda and I went up and snowboarded the rest of the day. The highlight was me going off down the run right off of the top of Ptarmigan and slipping at the top and because it was so steep going down the whole run on my face! Well actually on my front Torso but my face was very near the snow as I slid down the hill at high speeds!

After snowboarding I went home then I got together with Chris where we went over to Aaron's and I happily sang at the top of my lungs to Rockband. That is a fabulous game :). Anyway Chris made some great steak which I really enjoyed!

Sunday:
Went to Church in the morning, then I did some stuff with my parents. Then I got together with Amanda and we drove over to Sarah's place where I dropped off the truck. Then we (Sarah, Amanda and I) took Sarah's vehicle out to Annie's where we watched "Into the Wild". Then we left and went to Torsten's Bonfire where I met some new people and had some fun. I would mention everyone in this blog BUT, I think there is too many people to mention. Eventually I got home!

Monday:
I got up bright and early and had Pancakes and eggs! I felt tired for a while. Anyway later that day I went over to Amanda's to her 'Monty Python's Flying Circus Marathon'. I was just tired I guess so I left early and went home and just crashed.

Tuesday: (today)
Got a call from Tara that she was coming in and needed a ride from the airport. After work I went over with Sarah and Matt to the rockdump and Sarah and I did some lead climbs where we met up with Debbie. Debbie and Matt headed off and Sarah and I continued climbing. Chris and Amanda showed up to see if we were going to do anything and suggested making an event that night.

So after climbing Sarah and I headed back and Amanda Chris and Debbie were making food. Debbie needed a ride to the valley to drop off her truck to get it worked on so we headed out there, when we got back some fantastic food was done. It was this "noodle" stuff. And this white stuff you put on top of it. I'm not sure what it was called but it was very tasty. And there was this stuff called "bread". The bread had these "seasonings" on it which were very good.

Then everyone sat down and watched "Terror Planet", I had to head off though because I needed to pick up Tara at the airport.

So I ran out to the airport picked her up and took her home. Then I got home and... started writing this blog.

Hi!

You're keeping busy, as usual!! :) One of these evenings when you're not out and about, we'll have to chat. How's swing lessons going?

Am I your first comment?! ;) Do I count?

Swing dance lessons are done, but I need to take them again... because ... well I don't remember everything but I can do a several moves now!

And you DO count... I have a little logistical problem though with buying you lunch in person...

ergh, let me see, I'll think about this for a bit.

Don't worry, I'll be coming to Juneau in a few months! I'll make you pay up then. ;)

As for remembering swing, hey, you just need to get out there and practice. Get some good swing music and when I'm in town I'll practice with you!

I just learned the basic lead (guy) part for east coast swing yesterday. Pretty interesting trying to do it from the other side. hahah
