I'm posting this a couple of days late. I've been so hectic in the last week I haven't had time to do anything. Also the temperature has been fantastic lately and it is not conducive to blog writing.
But here goes:
the last few days before my birthday I've been to the Spring Formal, dance lessons, rock climbing, this and that. Lets just say.. I've been busy.
So I'll write about my Birthday...
1. I don't want to get older, so I tried to sneak through most of the way this year...
But as luck would have it it didn't happen which is just as well!
Sheila took me to lunch with Leonard, Amanda, Kaitee at Olivia's where I ate a Fiesta plate!
After work I went climbing at Basin Rock w/ Sarah and Matt.
Then I went out played R-Ball for all over at the racquet club. Although I lost every game it was fun. I managed to hold my own up with Shawna for a while (15-9 ... me having the nine).
After R-Ball 4 All, we all went over to Bullwinkles where I drank this blue liquid that was pretty good! And ate pizza!
Shawna made me a cake too!!!!! I was so surprised and it was very good!
Pretty much for the rest of the summer I won't be doing as many blogs because I'll be getting home late from being busy all of the time because of the increased daylight so I probably will not be writing as much.
Here are some of the people (sorry if I forgot anyone) who I want to thank for wishing me a happy birthday and making my birthday totally excellent!! For trying to sneak through the year people didn't let me forget it was my birthday! A good day!

at anc airport plane delayed by two hours
Once again I'm on my nokia n800 writing a blog. I stayed at the captain cook hotel in anchorage which is pretty good.
After work on monday I went shopping buying three new shirts and three new ties along with dress socks and other necessities as I managed to leave everything in juneau.
Have you ever known any girls who get stuck on shoes? I'm wondering if I might have the same deal with ties...
I also got a blackberry pearl which should be a lot better than the motorola q.
My 2nd cousin Amy lives in anchorage so I got together with her and had dinner plus entertainment.
So now I'm going to submit this at chilis as I sit down for chicken caesar salad.
It'll be good to get back to Juneau even with the problem with the avalanche and no hydro power for the next 2-3 months... I'll have to turn off folding@home I guess...

I am on a plane at 35000 feet using MaemoWord
I'm writing my blog on my Nokia N800 on the plane and at the airport.
Today my day involved going to church in the morning then stopping by costco. Where I bought some ice cream. probably not the best for me and it'll take awhile to eat it but still... I probably should cut out ice cream. I picked up a costco caesar salad for lunch and a hotdog for lunch.
I spent a decent amount of the day preparing to leave, then I called a cab and they asked am I ready now? I said yes and the cab said he was waiting outside so I rushed out promptly forgetting to take out the trash and finish cleaning my toilet and sink which I imagine will still have clorox in it when I get back. I also forgot all of my shirts and ties except the one I have on now and toothbrush and toothpaste. Oh well I guess I get to buy new shirts and ties in Los Anchorage!
So it is early boarding right now at the Juneau air port. They asked me when I signed up if I wanted to volunteer to take the flight tomorrow and I would have but I have a early meeting. ergh no free ticket!
It is always amazing how many people I know and see at the airport.
The nomber of people with instruments is amazing. And TSA seemed quite eager to check them all for dangerous weapons. While I was typing on my N800 I got approached by a recruiter who wanted me to look him up online as he felt their might be a position for me.
I managed too miss out on the big lebowski party tonight because I'm going to anchorage which is a bit sad.
Well here goes I'm going to try out the cheap integrated camera... I admit i'm bored...
picture of me bored on plane but not as bored as my neighbour
picture of looking out window... amazing the sky does exist...
ugh.. well the plane still is not here and in my rush to leave I forgot to bring entertainment.

Here is a blog Friday and Saturday
So... I haven't been too good at blogging lately but here is what I did friday and today.
Friday:
I was exhausted when I got home, so I took a 10 minute nap and felt absolutely terrific!
Then I went down to the lobby and waited till Amanda and Chris and Sarah walked by and we all walked down to El Sombrero. I had a good time at El Sombrero, we had Aubrey as our waitress (a DEC employee soon to be working at Temsco) and that was a plus! Everyone had a good time until we rushed off to see the requiem.
I didn't know exactly where to go so we all rushed off aimlessly with Chris and Amanda up front while Sarah and I fell behind wandering in the rain.
We eventually got there and watched as Debbie performed and some other people too! It was a good show!
Then we (Amanda, Chris, Debbie and Me) went over to Amanda's place and watched "Happiness" a favorite film of Amanda. It was a LONG film and I didn't get out of there until 12:30! A good time was had by all!
Saturday:
Saturday morning I went and had breakfast with my Mom; then at 8:35am Brenda stopped by and we switched vehicles and drove by and picked up Chris to go snowboarding/skiing.
The day was SOPPING wet... probably 2 days ago everything was great when it dumped a couple of feet or whatever but it has really warmed up and all it did was rain on the lower mountain.
I made a couple of interesting falls and I managed to twist my right knee. I was pretty tired (and EXTREMELY wet) at lunch time. I got back and I had TWO Chicken Caesar wraps... that's right TWO. The first one was fabulous, but the second one didn't taste quite as good and wonderful as the first one.
I got back and took a VERY nice shower... WOW! I soaked in a bath and my knee felt a lot better!
I went and hung out with Chris for a while, then went over to Amanda's small get-together with Ashleigh, Nick, Annie, Sarah, Debbie, Chris and me.
Nick got me a knee brace and some medicine to reduce the swelling in my knee. We then went down to the Nickelodeon where we all watched "Be Kind Rewind" a AWESOME film it was a lot of fun!
Anyway tomorrow is Sunday and I'm flying out to anchorage for a few days.
And so ends another 2 days in the life of ME!

really bad at blogging lately
I've noticed that the more light I have the less time I do blogging. If you look through my past years of blogging you'll notice that not much happens during the summer events.
It isn't because I'm not DOING anything it's more like I'm so busy that I get home late and I just don't blog about my day.
I've noticed this is happening... yet AGAIN. We are getting more light during the day and I have been very busy. So instead of a play by play my activites have included:
climbing/dancing/snowboarding/parties/folk fest/eating good food/doing stuff with friends/being irritated at the constant snow as it ruins SOME of my outdoor activities.
Maybe this year will be better about blogging, but in all reality I probably will fail yet again because I get home too late and I just don't feel like writing about my day.

And the drum beat of life beats on!
Okay so here I am posting on a tuesday night.
Now you can compare how my plan was on how things actually ended up.
Saturday: 8:45am went up to the slopes with Brenda. The whole day was sunny and Brenda generously applied sunscreen to protect my white face. The weather was great, I ended up taking off a layer of clothing because it was warm. So we snowboarded for a while then I we went to lunch and somehow Brenda managed to buy me lunch when I was attempting to buy HER lunch. I was foiled!
Anyway we went over and had lunch with Chris, Aaron and Amanda. You can read about it from the other perspective at: http://amandalysis.blogspot.com/2008/03/kicking-off-sewards-day-weekend.html
After that Brenda and I went up and snowboarded the rest of the day. The highlight was me going off down the run right off of the top of Ptarmigan and slipping at the top and because it was so steep going down the whole run on my face! Well actually on my front Torso but my face was very near the snow as I slid down the hill at high speeds!
After snowboarding I went home then I got together with Chris where we went over to Aaron's and I happily sang at the top of my lungs to Rockband. That is a fabulous game :). Anyway Chris made some great steak which I really enjoyed!
Sunday:
Went to Church in the morning, then I did some stuff with my parents. Then I got together with Amanda and we drove over to Sarah's place where I dropped off the truck. Then we (Sarah, Amanda and I) took Sarah's vehicle out to Annie's where we watched "Into the Wild". Then we left and went to Torsten's Bonfire where I met some new people and had some fun. I would mention everyone in this blog BUT, I think there is too many people to mention. Eventually I got home!
Monday:
I got up bright and early and had Pancakes and eggs! I felt tired for a while. Anyway later that day I went over to Amanda's to her 'Monty Python's Flying Circus Marathon'. I was just tired I guess so I left early and went home and just crashed.
Tuesday: (today)
Got a call from Tara that she was coming in and needed a ride from the airport. After work I went over with Sarah and Matt to the rockdump and Sarah and I did some lead climbs where we met up with Debbie. Debbie and Matt headed off and Sarah and I continued climbing. Chris and Amanda showed up to see if we were going to do anything and suggested making an event that night.
So after climbing Sarah and I headed back and Amanda Chris and Debbie were making food. Debbie needed a ride to the valley to drop off her truck to get it worked on so we headed out there, when we got back some fantastic food was done. It was this "noodle" stuff. And this white stuff you put on top of it. I'm not sure what it was called but it was very tasty. And there was this stuff called "bread". The bread had these "seasonings" on it which were very good.
Then everyone sat down and watched "Terror Planet", I had to head off though because I needed to pick up Tara at the airport.
So I ran out to the airport picked her up and took her home. Then I got home and... started writing this blog.
Hi!
Now I'm talking to myself.
