a classic "what I have been up to" blog post

Hello,

It has been quite a while since I wrote one of my classic what I've been up to posts but, here it is:

Saturday I went to a fashion shoot which mainly involved me carrying model clothes and equipment around. It was actually quite a bit of fun believe it or not.

Sunday I went shopping and got various stuff done. I went to Fairway and IKEA both places I like a lot. It is really nice to just hop on the IKEA Water Ferry which is a block or so from my place and be at IKEA.

Monday I went up to the gunks with some new friends of mine! We rented a SUV piled everyone in and went climbing all day. I had a great time!!

Tuesday it was work and stuff. The doorman was hungry so I volunteered to get something to eat for him, so I went and got him a Gyro and a Avacado shake. He hates Avacado's but.. I didn't tell him what it was and he was like... what is this, it is great! He couldn't believe it when I told him it was an Avacado shake. I think I have another convert.

I LOVE those things.

Yesterday I went to the Young Republicans Club to watch the Republican National Convention. People were really stoked about Sarah, and afterwards they were even more happy. Personally I thought she did a good job, but she has always campaigned on a non-agressive attacking posture. And I thought she tried to tear down the opposing candidate a little much. Everyone really is amazing people and it was kind of sad to see that. I think her speeches must have been written by someone else because I don't remember her being that way. Nevertheless I met a few people and exchanged phone numbers!

Tonight I'm going to be going by and helping cook for the big meal tomorrow down at 377 Broadway (the Kitchen is at the lime group building). Friday I'm told I won't get much work done because I'll be serving food and getting stuff ready. After work I am meeting up with Peng (from Juneau!) and we are going to compare Thai food with Juneau. It'll be a good time! Saturday I'm going to a "Warm Up", it is this musical concert which work got me tickets for. So free drinks and music!

Sunday I'm going up-state to go climbing in the gunks. I REALLY like climbing up there. It takes about an hour and a half drive but very worth it. Excpecially with having a vehicle full of cool people to hang out with on the way there. I'm going to pick up some cams on Saturday so I'll be able to try out my own cams if everything works out okay!

So... There is a look at the "life of Myron in NYC".
