Sounds like an interesting trip at least. I hate when locals take advantage of tourists. I was in Toronto once and a guy tried to convince me that he didn't owe me any change when I thought he did. He claimed I paid him w/ a denomination that didn't even exist in Canada.A fake rock in a park?!! Only in New York.
